Default tire question

what is the largest tire that can be put under a '67, I'm thinking towards a 235 / 60-15 (BFG T/A)

I'm running 215-65-15 on stock knockoffs on my '66. I get a very minor rub to the frame from the passenger front tire at full right lock at times, not all of the time.

You can use a larger tire, but you may need a custom wheel. Keep in mind that these cars are not all the same. What works on one car, may not work on another.

Your suspension can be a big factor if it's old and weak. Dennis

Interesting, the car I'm looking at ('67) has rally wheels and 225/70-15 with no rub issues.

So, no one has had any experience with 235/60-15's ?
