My Carlisle Pictures
Took my dad up Friday morning in my Z06 for our 7th year in a row. Walked around all day Friday and really didn't buy anything. It's funny how 7 years ago I could of really cared less about the parts for sale because I knew nothing about old Corvettes. Once I got one and started digging into it I spend more time walking in the parts for sale than the cars for sale. I met a guy from Jersey and we ended up eating dinner with him Sat. night. Lots of Canadians there for sure. I set out on the hotel patio till midnight last night talking to one of them. That is what I love about Carlisle, you never know who you will meet and it is always a good time. We even met these kids outside the steak house last night and one of them had a new Z06 vert loaded. I didn't know it has a camera in the hood that can record your driving. He showed us a video on his navigation system screen and he was doing 160!!!! on the way down from NY. It was brand new and the back tires were already worn down and needed replaced. I don't think he is a very smart kid, but I have a new found respect for the new Z06 because he was ripping around the parking lot and that thing is wicked fast.
The highlight of my trip was when I picked up my 4 year old girl today when I got back. Before I even had her buckled in she noticed I changed out the shift ****. She is my little car buddy. We hope to get our 66 in the display next year and take the original owner up with the car. Anyway here are my pics.

That's a nice bunch of pictures but pale in comparison to the smile on that little girl's face. Priceless!

These were great pix. You did a professional job capturing the essence of the place. When I've been there, its rained. Looks like you had beautiful weather. Thanks for posting.

Your photos are great, and you chose to shoot just about the same cars I would have. I agree it was a great show, and sitting around the hotel afterwards with a nice cigar, some good scotch and a dozen or so fellow Corvette enthusiasts made the whole weekend worthwhile. See you next year!

Wow, lots of pictures and thanks for posting Jason. Love all the pictures of the C-2. I went to Carlisle two years ago in my 2003 C-5. I was amazed at all the vettes in one place. I've seen so many pictures of Carlisle on this form this week, I feel like I was there. There are a ton more on the Canadian section also, thanks again.
