I was also there - part of the '65 50th anniversary display right next to Jim and Mary's Milano Maroon Vert (6t5rush) with my Glen Green Fuelie Vert. As far as I know, I was the only '65 fuelie there. I met a lot of people, but I don't know if any were CF'er's. Did I speak with any of you?

Finally had a chance to jump in here. Got back last night. The '5 ran like a top. Put 1,400 miles on her in 7 days.
Was great to put some faces to our handles here. Parked next to Pauluptime, met his GF Jennie, Paul's blue convertible has those small flares on the rear quarterss, just a nice touch wirh those polishwd vanes on turbine wheels. Also met MarkC (Mark's '66 has a stunning body/paint car), Bluestripe67 (no problem finding that striped '67, sweet look) as well as Woodsdesign (although you weren't near your coupe, in my wanderings I did see her up close...very sharp) and Nowhereman. Re-aquainted ourselves with Cindy and Dennis in the 63-67 Registry. Hat's off to Wayne (wsaugenstein), he drove that NCRS Glen Green fuelie from Jersey. Have to believe Paul (Pauluptime) put more miles getting to this event. coming from Toronto.
We haven't been here since 2011.
My neighbors Jim & Pat caravan'd with us ('80 Hello Yellow t-top'd Vette 4 spd). They weren't so lucky. We think the clutch went & we were in W Liberty, Ohio when it happened. About a 3 hour delay & my AAA Premier road service kicked in. With a 200 mile flat bed tow in an airconditioned stretch cab, they were home 1/2 an hour after me. The driver backed her right on my lift in my garage.
I'll get some pics up of folks here and of this event as soon as I catch my breath & some more sleep.
Oh, averaged 21 mpg with my setup (LGT700 [Keisler SS700 close ratio]).
Nearly forgot, bumped into Jackfit on early Friday morning. Jack, you looked fit as usual although you did say you were saddle sore

Thought I'd share some pics of Carlisle & our trip.
As I said seeing fellow forum members was a hoot. Pics follow:
Wayne (wsaugenstein) with his Glen Green NCRS fuelie ...1 of 20 '65's chosen for the 50th Commemorative Display
Yours truly and Nowhereman
My neighbors Jim & his wife Pat flanking Joe Clemente, who has set up these commemorative displays since 2002...that's me on the right with my bride Mary
Cindy calling the meeting to order<br/>
Dennis (bluestripe67) & me hammin' it up
This is probably difficult to see without zooming but Lance Miller signed & sketched a midyear on bluestripe67's pass visor...pretty cool
Our '5 in line early Sunday afternoon to receive a 2015 Corvettes at Carlisle Celebrity Choice Award
Jim getting his '80 Hello Yellow L48 4 spd hooked up foe a 200 mile tow home (think it's the clutch)
The weather was great, heating up big time Sunday/Monday. Wish I'd taken more pics of folks here.
Missed, found out later they were no shows, meeting up with MikeM & Frank the Fink.
Great time!
Jim

Hey Jim - Was great seeing you and meeting Mary.
An honor to have your beast parked beside mine in the tent.
Well-enjoyed Corvettes are something special everyone should experience!
Here is a video and some pics I took of you receiving your award!

I invented a "special tool" to install the distributor shielding without scratching the back of the fuelie unit plenum - an old sock. Scratching the plenum was always a problem. I put the sock between the plenum and the brackets at the front of the shielding, worked it in at an angle, lined it up and installed the wing nuts. I then covered a screwdriver blade with cloth, pried the brackets away from the plenum and removed the sock. Maybe I should apply for a patent.

Jim, Thanks for posting the pics of us "hamming it up". I know a lot of information was flying around up there, but I want too correct the info on the pic of my sunvisor. Lance invited me too put my car in the flag display. The drawing was done by Chip Foose and the other visor was done by Kevin McKay. Two outstanding car guys. Dennis
