Default How to ship/crate a C1 Powerlide

About 12 to15 years ago I switch the original transmission on my '56 from cast iron Powerglide to BW T-10. I just preferred manual transmission. Now I sold the car and would like to sell the powerglide but the trans weight about 180 lbs and not easy to move around. How does someone crate a transmission like this and gets it ready to ship? I was thinking on selling it on eBay.

Many thanks

The least expensive is to get a wood pallet, wrap the transmission in heavy plastic and use ratchet straps to secure it to the pallet. I have shipped a few engine blocks this way and never had a problem.
