Default Q re 1967 327/350 block 3892657

Is it correct for 1967 327/350 block 3892657 made in Flint "V" code to have this threaded outlet on the right front of the block about 1 inch below where the oil filler in the intake would be? See photo, thanks.

I think a few Tonawanda cast blocks (3858180) went into a limited number of Corvettes back in 1965...............however, all the Corvette small block engines were machined and built at Flint.

This is per the NCRS 1965 Judging Manual, Fifth Edition (purple cover). Page 82.

It was part of the machining process to create an internal intersection at the front of the main oil gallery; The Tonawanda machining process was slightly different and didn't require the external hole.
