Default 66 C2 small block conv - tire suggestions?

Hi guys. I have a 66 small block roadster, and just got thru with a complete front end, rear end, rebuild, including springs, control arm bushings, trailing arm bushings/bearings, on and on. Want to replace the tires as they are 9 years old, and are worn very unevenly. Any suggestions on what brand is a good choice? Not interested in doing any racing, jsut want a good car for cruising

Lots of choices but I like the BF Goodrich T/A's in 215-65x15. A bit shorter than what some guys like to run but I also prefer a lower look to my midyears. A neighbor has a 66 Bigblock Coupe and he's going to be adding Goldlines and I seem to recall them as being 205-70 or 75 series and made by Goodrich as well.

What size and type of tires are looking for (black, red/gold line, white walls) and in what price range? Personally size wise, I prefer 215/70/15's.

Not knowing the stance of your car, I would not get aggressive. 205/70/15 is a very safe size. Spend fair too good money for top of the line tires, not house brands. Dennis

Thanks 427/42566! Your size/brand is what is on the car now.....worn very unevenly due to sloppy front and rear end. Have gone thru, doing ball joints, tierod ends, wheel bearings, springs shocks, control arm bushings, idler arm, steering box, trailing arm bushings, bearings, on and on. Did a body-on-frame alignment also, since the entire rear end was torn out and replaced, all but the pumpkin.
Mine are old also, about 9 years old if I remember correctly.
