Good old-fashioned detective work, starting with the person you bought it from, or any "clues" you've found in the car. The various internet "people" search engines can be amazingly effective tools.

Good luck Dr.! It took me almost 5 years to hunt down the final pieces of history on my 64'. I just continued hunting.....I have been looking for history for a member here for years, as his car was purchased while he lived in my home town.

I used auto ancestry to search my 66 . He was not successful .

If you know where it was originally sold (NCRS service) then check and see if the dealer has any info, then bribe someone at that states DMV
