Weatherman is saying 48 degrees tomorrow night here in central Florida. Welcome break from the 80's and 90's this week.

Yesterday took the '64 out for a breakfast hookup and rondezvous with a bud in Tracy. .. ..

Just got back from a morning run to Santa Cruz. .. Both days about 200 miles round trip, temps mid 70's.

Warm-up for a road trip to NV and AZ
after Thanksgiving.

Still decent and no snow yet in Central NY, but we are due for up to 8 inches in the area over the weekend. I did put both the C1 & C6 to bed for the winter, but I'm planning on some minor electrical work on the C6 side of the garage in a week or so (overhead reels for air & electric) so I'll have to back it out into the driveway for a day. No salt on the driveway, so it'll be fine. And if the roads are clear and the county hasn't put any salt down yet, I may take it for a brief spin. We'll see.

This is killing me. It has been in the mid 70's here forever and I am stuck in the garage. My 65 project is still about a year away from finish and my 67 is down for another engine rebuild. If the forecasters are right, the El Nino should hit here just about the time the engine is back in the 67 and it will rain for months. I feel for those of you with long winters, but it does give you a lot of time to do all of the detailing things that we tend to put off.

Actually . . . yes, I do get around much!

I've been very fortunate in my life to have traveled to almost every state in the US - and Annapolis, MD holds a very special meaning for me. While I grew up in Pittsburgh, my first trip to Annapolis was in the summer of '69 when my brother was accepted into the class of '73 at the Naval Academy. I visited my brother many weekends while he was there - and later he and my dad would spend long weekends and summer weeks sailing around the Chesapeake Bay - always ending up in Annapolis for a few beers @ McGarvey's Saloon! Lots of very fond family memories - and it's a thrill to live just 40 minutes away from this very special place!

Sentimental. I can understand that. I thought you were referring to the parking lot.

Default We had some light snow, but no salt on the roads.

To make provette67 happy, I came to a full stop before taking this picture today. BTW, its Kirk Herbstreit's former house. He used to live down the street and didnt give out candy on Halloween.

I think more damge happens in storage than when you drive the car. Here's an article I did on all of this.

btw - What's snow? I hardly remember it.

Yesterday I drove the cars out of the garage for a photo shoot .
Beautiful day but a little cool for the young model but she worked like a pro for 3 hours as did her 2 little brothers.
The photographer/publisher has his stuff on [url]www.retrobombmag.com[/ur
These are my pictures , the real photographers are much better.

A couple of years ago I was at car show and one of the judges told me a story about how they were going to put the cars into two classes based on where they came from. One class was for cars from cold climates and the other was for cars from warm climates. He explained that the judging would be much tougher for cars from cold climates. His reasoning was that those folks have all winter to clean and detail their cars while the warm weather guys are driving theirs. Obviously, that guy was from a warm place.
