Default Holley 3811 base gasket '67 427-390 HP

I'm trying to source a carburetor base gasket for my 3811 Holley which sits atop the original intake manifold. I believe the original GM part number is 3884573 which mates to the smaller/differently shaped heat slot in the manifold. The 389045 gasket carried by all of the Corvette parts vendors I have found so far has a heat slot cutout somewhat larger than the slot in the manifold?

Does anyone know where I can locate a baffle with a properly sized heat slot for this carb/manifold? Maybe it's not a problem since there's a stainless baffle plate that sets over the base gasket?

Thanks in advance?

I would plug the 2 heat slot holes with either drive in expansion plugs or thread for pipe thread plugs and you will not have to worry about the size of the heat slot. this was a GM fix to prevent engine fires years ago. the correct gasket was a metal core one the gasket material on both sides

Thanks for your reply, but I may not have been clear in the gasket I need. On the '66 & '67 390 hp manifold, the heat slot is of a "dog bone" shape that is just a bit narrower than the slots in big block engines from other years.

The best place I have found to get these gaskets is DR REBUILD. The number from their old catalog is # 3726126. Around $10.

Terrific, thanks! This appears to be the place I've been looking for.
