67 door handle help

Default 67 door handle help

How do you remove the interior door handle. Need to replace door panels . Have looked on forum, just can't find it . Thanks for any help.

Unscrew it - the chrome ball and the stud it's on are both threaded. If you're talking about the trim-color handle closer to the front of the door, it has two phillips screws - one at the top, and one at the bottom.

Do you have the Assembly Manual and the Chassis Service Manual?

Yes sir. I was talking about the ball on the door handle . Thank you, though it would be best to ask first! Instead of getting a bigger hammer like I usually do. Who do you think makes the best repop door panels? Thanks again!

Corvette Amercia makes a good door panel. But you better get some more books and read them if you already ran into your first problem removing the panel

The attached PDF files will give you some insight into removing door handles, window cranks, etc. They are all based on our '65.

I have the Corvette America panels in our car and the fit is very good. They were purchased from Willcox if I recall.
