Nice turn out. Looks like there was a sale on coupes and not a big block in sight.

Nice event, and the rain stayed away.

I hit a deluge driving home on the Florida Turnpike and I 75.

That's me in the blue shirt above looking at the silver blue '63 coupe just oozing patina. I helped judge the car (clipboard holder) and it was incredible. A Texas car with the 300hp mill, unmolested and it was awesome. Owned by a NASA worker prior to the current owner obtaining the car. Most know I'm not a 'patina' guy but I just couldn't quit looking at this one.

This meet is a nice, relaxed event and a learning experience. The owners were respectful of the process and a bunch of the judges were guys I know who are tops in their field.

A little factoid - two of the judges (forum members) are world-class restomod builders.

Wish I would have had the time to check it out closely.

I was busy judging 65's.

We finished our original two cars... then they surprised us by adding a third car after lunch.

It was a great turn out considering the weather forecast. Some very nice cars on the field, that Silver Blue 63 SWC was a time capsule. Rich Mozzetta and I helped with the 67 judging.

Unrestored original cars have a LOT to say. I would have spent a lot of time looking at it too.

There's just not much for me to learn looking at restored cars.

Whoever owns that 63 is one lucky person.
There is no questioning the authenticity of cars like that one.
Its a much nicer car than the over-restored trailer queens that are too often cobbled together from 2-3 cars.
