1956 Corvette pedal car?

My original Eska 1956 pedal car was not fiberglass. It does look very much like the one I had but I can't tell if is dimensionally correct. Looks like a great find to me! Hugh

Pretty sure it's not an Eska pedal car body - I seem to recall that the grille teeth were molded in on those, and this body looks bigger overall. I know that Yard-Man built 200 of the original Corvette Karts for Chevy dealers in 1959 or so (I have one), and a company called Matco also made a similar body later . . . but those were 1958-60 style with dual headlights, and a few with the 1961-62 ducktail rear end as well. I don't remember a kart body in the 1956-57 style - but I think that we've found one now. Very nice piece. Here's a couple of photos of my Yard-Man Corvette Kart:
