Default My car is going to be in a TV commercial

The commercial is for Hy-per Lube Super Coolant (never heard of it LOL).

Two young ladies are going to be sitting in the car. They will drive it about 300 feet, get out of the car, and walk around it "looking pretty".

I'm a bit apprehensive about letting someone else drive the car. But, I will be there and it's going to be in my local neighborhood where there is very little traffic. Also, I contacted Adam Boca to find out if my car would be covered and he gave it the OK.

I believe the ad will run on the Velocity Channel.

Oh, yes, when they found out my wife has a 2012 Grand Sport, they said they might want to use it, too, in a "make your old car run like a new car" theme.

I'm sure you know if this girl knows the difference between a standard trans and an automatic. Dennis

If neither of the gals can shift it then one or the other can sit in your lap while you drive it for the photo shoot. I'm sure the wife won't mind!

Yeah, that's the first question I asked. On the day of the shoot, the keys will stay in my pocket until I've had an opportunity to have a chat with the proposed driver.

When my wife found out young ladies were involved, her first comment was, "OK, your car can go but you have to stay home."

They only wanted a convertible. However, they were looking for a 1960 to 1975 so you have that covered.

All joking aside, congratulations on being chosen. Make sure to let us know when the commercial will be aired.

Thanks. I'll report back here when the commercial airs.

Here's a couple of commercials, one with a Mustang and one with another '67 Corvette, this company has done for Hy-per Lube products:

Fun stuff! Are they going make you put their mystery "product" in your engine? Maybe a lifetime supply?

Good question. They didn't say anything about that. The commercial I'm doing is for their coolant product - Hy-Per Lube Super Coolant. I've read some stuff on the Web about it that sounds pretty good. Haven't read anything really negative about it. No way do I believe their claim of making your engine run 20 degrees cooler, however.

Anyone use this stuff?

And their oil additive looks and flows a lot like STP..............

PS - I love their choice of Corvettes in the ads - '67 Convertibles, the first one just like mine!
