67 Marina Blue need interior color
My 67 exterior is Marina Blue but what is the color used for interior plastics/metal? It appears to be a different shade not marina blue. Thanks

If it was close to the Marina, GM called it Bright Blue.
Check your tag under the glove box, Trim Code 414 is Bright Blue/vinyl seats, 415 is BB/leather.
Companies like Corvette America will mix the paint for you in spray can or by the quart.
A good local paint supplier can also mix it, all they need is the to do so is the 414 Trim Code.

You didn't tell us what your trim tag code is for your interior or what color interior your putting in

I am not home so I do not have the trim tag with me. My interior is white seats, and headliner. My dash and trim pieces are a shade of blue. The shade just does not appear to be marina so I assume it must be bright blue?

I used PPG DIA 1322X sorry but cant read the last letter due to a big glob of paint. but it was a perfect match.
Was it a low gloss for the dash areas?

That was lacquer paint. Depending how you spray it you can make it low gloss or semi. You can also polish it a little to make it more shinny.

There probably 3 different shades of blue in a BB interior.

My 67 with blue/white interior carries a 450 trim tag. This should be correct if the tag is original. And yes there is at least 3 different shades of blue used for the dash, console, side panels, and kick panel trim. You may want to contact Wombat on this site (Wayne Womble) as he was the one to repaint my interior parts. Also, if you research threads by me approx. 3yrs ago on the NCRS site, you will find the color codes for DuPont and one other manufacturer for the interior paints. I'm also thinking it is somewhere in the NCRS books. Anyway it has been brought up often by others on the NCRS site. Hope this helps.
