Default spring mount anchor plate bolts

should they be 3 1/2" or 4"??? I am going from 7(now 6 leaf spring) to stock 9 leaf

any help would be great

If they are two long your going to crack your rear end cover. It's best to measure

You need to use a small/thin screwdriver or wooden dowel and measure the depth of the threaded holes. All-thread rod also works......threaded it in by hand until it stops and then mark it and measure the thread depth.

Then measure the thickness of the springs and spring liners. Add to this the thickness of the mounting plate and the bolt lock washers.

Now add everything together and then subtract about 3/16 inch for clearance. Use this bolt length. Cut the bolts if needed.

You should then be good to go.
