Anyone have any experience with Duntov Motors in Denton TX? They are just a short drive from me and would be a covenant place to have my steering box overhauled. Any info would be appreciated. Tim

I bought a complete brake system from them one year ago for my 67. Only draw back was the delivery was delayed a little. Other than that no problems. Brakes are great. Jason was very pleasant to talk with.

They are a race car shop!
They do build some of the fastest Vintage race Corvettes in the Country! I would not have thought that they would take in generic rebuild projects! As everything from Rear diffs, brake packages, to trailing arm set ups are high end pricing stuff! Are they hurting for business?

If memory serves me correctly, I think Duntov Motors signed some kind of agreement with Zora's widow (Elfie) to use the name.

Safety Car
I bought all the suspension parts for my car through DM - bushings, bearings, seals, ball joints, rear axle spindles. One of the orders showed up without a packing slip. Wanting to keep a record of parts received, replaced, etc., I called DM to request a copy of the invoice order. I was told an invoice copy would be sent. .. Two weeks on......no invoice copy. Call again, yada yada........we'll send it out.
No copy ever arrived.

OK, thanks for all the input. I see there are lots of bad feelings about this company ether due to past experience or just the use of the name Duntov. I will send my steering box to a company that is respected on this forum. Tim

These people are HIGHLY respected in the NCRS world. I've used them a few times and they are definitely the best - http://www.bairs.com/

I have Mike Dwyer's phone number somewhere if you email me I will look for it. There is also a guy just east of Dallas that I swapped my 63 race car's for a rebuild that does excellent work and one day shipping. No comment on Duntov but I have bought a few race parts from them.
