My 58 project will have a charcoal interior. My assumption is that the painted parts, gauge cluster, center section, speaker grill, etc should be black. Is that correct? I ask because I have never seen a charcoal interior.

Tech Info Manual is not at all clear to me. That is why I asked the question. It says top storage well is charcoal paint. All other areas are charcoal vinyl.

I had an unrestored Charcoal '58. Seems to me it was all Charcoal. Hard to tell from the pics but even the steering wheel was Charcoal.

Which is correct? They are original, or they ar 1961 *****? The reason I ask is that is what I have in my supposed 1958, but the hood latches and seats look like they are 1961. Very confused.
