Starter Solenoid
I replaced my starter solenoid last summer when I had my transmission and clutch out. I am having issues with it clicking occasionally. My old one worked fine but I figured I would replace it since I did not know how old it was. Are there any good American made solenoid's so out there?

Double check your battery cables to be certain they are making a good contact.
You can still find original delco service replacement solenoids on ebay, the part # is different than original (I THINK it ends in 458). They usually sell in the 60-70 dollar range and they serviced many of these type starters. Good old made in USA GM parts.

I replaced mine with a BWD from O'reilly's about 3 or 4 years ago. It was under $25 and still is. I didn't ask where it was made, but O'reilly's sells it with a lifetime warranty right now for $22.99, and it's still working fine.
