Paint needed to paint dash?
I am about to order the rattle cans to spray my dash 63 vert and steering column red. They are black now and were originally red when new. Corvette Central has the die/paint in small rattle cans and I need to make sure I get enough to do the job as I need to ship them by sea freight.
Many thanks.

I don't know how precise you want to be but I used off the shelf red Krylon to nicely match my 59's Roman Red interior.... two 12 ounce cans was more than enough tho I can't imagine a 63 would require that much more...

I used SEM vinyl paint when I did the dash on my '64. It came out great and still looks wonderful 6 years after doing it.

Unfortunately Krylon paint is not sold over here and semi vinyl paint is not available either. I will purchase and ship the paint/dye from CC I just wanted to know how much to buy. So 4 cans should be plenty?
Thanks
Thanks

Corvette America has the best 63 red IMO; covers evenly without filling the grain - their vinyl dye that comes in full size aerosol cans.
If I were in your spot (overseas) I'd order 4 cans to be sure.

What Frank said. Plus it's nice to have extra in case you want to paint something else down the road

Thanks I ordered 5 cans, but from CC as I had several items on order from them. I think the supply houses sell the same products but with different labels.
