Are Magnaflow mufflers louder then original mufflers

The owner before me installed magnaflow mufflers because he liked the sound. I must admit they do sound good but I would rather have quiet then good sound. Are the stock reproduction mufflers quieter then magnaflow.

Not sure about the off-road mufflers, but otherwise they are louder.

I have magnaflows are they are definately louder than stock.

That's my experience as well, but still not as loud as I was hoping. One of my friends has a 65 with NOS N-11's and they aren't as loud as his.
