I am looking at a 65 with what the owner tells me are oem Knock off wheels. I will be able to remove a wheel and verify. If the wheels are OEM I would pay the asking price of the car and sell the wheels.
Is it reasonable to think I could get $7,500 for 5 OEM wheels?

Condition is everything. I would think you could get more for five OEM wheels. But why would you sell them?

I wouldn't be counting my money yet. The definition of OEM means different things to different folks.... I've heard Western Wheels referred to as OEM; at any rate -- here is some reading for you on the topic:

If the car has any supporting docs to prove the wheels are original it would be a shame to separate them after 50 years.

Turn 12!
I am interested if they are legit. This will make my car 100%. All that I am missing are the KO's and a correct dated windshield.
