Default RS tranny slipping out of 5th

Has anyone who purchased one of Keisler's RS transmissions had a problem with it remaining in 5th? Mine does this and has since it was new. I was initially advised by Keisler that there was a plate in the shifter assembly that might be the cause and when I inspected it, I found it was indeed interfering with the shifter. I corrected that problem and while it reduced the frequency of the occurrence, it didn't eliminate it.

Of course Keisler offered to fix it free of charge if I shipped it back but fortunately I was having too much fun driving it with my new 406 that I was in no hurry to take it apart. Shortly thereafter, Keisler closed their doors and I would have probably never seen my tranny again if I'd sent it back for service.

I have sent an email to The T45 Source to see what they know about it but in the meantime thought I'd ask the forum.

Thanks,
Ken

I've not had any trouble with mine (knock on wood!). Please keep us informed of what you find out, as I believe there are several of us that run the same transmission.

I'm running the rs400. Purchased around 2013. No issues to speak of...
