Very nice, have you considered making a few more sets and selling them to forum members?

I like the behind the wheel location like the 61/62; BUT you have to make it long enough so that the exhaust fumes don't eddy back into the car. I had to extend mine in order to prevent that...

yes,, I would have to get a commitment of 10 sets at that point I would make a set up jig to speed up build time and to get volume discount for materials,, just for the one off headers for this car material is $1000.00 ( flanges, tubing ,V band connections ,)not including consumables and labor

yeah that's my thought as well but the 2 1/2 tail pipe will be tight between the frame and body and will have to get creative to make it work ,, but I think the results would be worth it

Well if u like to read Somkey Y. (RIP) like I do u can take a very low press gauge and tubing to find the lowest press location for exh to exit. U need to measure inches of water press and go for a drive. If u find a location under vacuum u hit the gold mine.

Good luck.

Maybe I should add the science for exh tech is nearly endless. But the gains over a good set of long tubes is smaller bang for your buck as u spend more and more. But there are gains to be had.

My headers after they were built cost me $1500.00 for my '65 with sidepipes.

I like your work - If you build them - they will come.
Looks like there's a career in the making. Good Luck.

Here's a pic of my headers my buddy built for me.
