67 Stinger Hood Info
Hi All,
Newbie to CF and would like to get the experts takes on what I have.
I believe it to be a repro BB Stinger but don't know. Attached is at least one pic. (Hopefully it attached properly) Any help or education would be helpful and appreciated.

Welcome to the CF. You stated out right by asking a question. Can't tell from that top pic. Post a pic of the other side. That will tell us. Dennis

It's either an aftermarket hood, or someone cut it up. The scoop on 67 big block hoods, extends beyond the end of the hood a coupe inches. The "stinger" on that hood looks like it ends even with the back edge of the hood.
As Bluetripe said, post a picture of the underside of the hood. The finish of the underside of the hood, and the type of rivets used to attach the nut plates, will go a long way toward identifying the hood.

Thanks Dennis and everyone. Here is a pic of the other side.
The cowl does extend about 1 3/4" past the end of the hood. It also looks like the base is fiberglassed to the skin.

Melting Slicks
It doesn't cost anything to try and sell it, on this forum, on Craigslist, ebay, whatever. It might find a home on a race car of some sort, road racer, drag racer, etc. but I suspect it is quite heavy as hand laid hoods are generally thicker than originals. If you sell it for $100-200, that is more cash than you had before!!

That hood may be perfect for someone wanting it for a driver. Start at $500 and go from there. The awkward shape/size will hinder shipping. Advertise locally Dennis

I see what looks like holes in the top, but not in the bottom.
Yeah, sorry to say, that's junk. Unload it. Use the search function to search for '67BB hoods. You should find a pic of a real one for comparison. Maybe someone will post a pic...
Welcome to the forum! You should fill in your profile so we can see where you live. You don't have to be specific, but at least you should let us know what state you are in. You might find a forum member right in your neighborhood!
And tell us about your car, (And we love pictures!)
