Thanks for the info on my hold down tray. What is a good product to clean under my hood. Engine and everything around it.

All depends on how dirty, greasy etc. Regular cleaners work well for a refresh. If you need to cut through moderate dirt and oil film you will want to consider an engine cleaner such as Gunk. If your removing heavy dirt/oil/grease a great product is Marine Clean. Just remember to follow mixing instructions because it's really powerful. Marine Clean is a good alternative to steam cleaning which many not be available to you or be too aggressive of an approach.

I just started using a new [to me] stuff...Greased Lightning...yellow bottle , BJ's and Home Depot has it...worked incredible on cooking grease on kitchen cabinets without messing up the finish. Now I have some in the shop.


I use purple power too but that stuff is rugged, simple green is way too mild for me.

I know if you don't dilute spray nine enough it will bouble and remove paint
