Alex, please note that some of the pictured cars appear to have the fender openings cut up to the beltline for more tire clearance, completely eliminating the OE horizontal lip.

Hey, I did it myself back in the '60s, before finally going all the way with C3 flares!

The more I see '64 coupes, the more I want one (I have a convertible).

I'm on the fence, toss up between torque thrusts and knock-offs.

best mid year made. Zora loved them.


ps. yes, my tires are 235/60R15 and well lips are shaved, but not up to the syle crease.

15 x 7 Torque Thrust D's with 215/65/15's all around. Got the rims from a dealer in Iowa that was on Ebay about 7 years ago.

They both look great! I'm partial to the salt flats. I love they way they look with the dark blue which is my favorite '64 color.
