Can someone verify if the bulb in the radio is illuminated when the lights are on, or does it only lite when you turn on the radio?
(The bulb lights the tuning area under the *****)

The radio light is part of the instrument light circuits (gray wires) so only has power when the parking or headlights are on. HOWEVER the radio light wiring goes through the radio on/off switch. SO if you have park or headlights on, key in acc or on, turn on radio, radio light will illuminate the dial. However if no park or headlights active, key on, radio on, there will not be a radio dial light. This setup allows the radio light to only operate when the instrument lights are on, but only if the radio is also switched on

Is the bulb on the drivers side or passenger side of he radio? Want to change it.
I think it's on the drivers side but wanted to verify first.
