Well it could be due to a bad body job. Might be time to start measuring your car at both sides to see if all are with in spec

I have a 1954 corvette, i noticed that my drivers front wheel seems to be about an inch ahead of the passenger wheel but car drives out straight ,front end all new, a friend suggested the body might just be out of line does anyone have any suggestions for me please,i know this is hard to explain, all I see is my drivers front wheel is closer to the fender than my passenger side wheel. I feel if I can just turn the body 15 degrees to the right all will be fine.if this is the problem how big a job is it thanks.

Measure between front to back on each side. Don't use the body panels. These cars were put together in a rather crude manner. Fledgeling years for fiberglass body construction and assembly line work. Dennis
