Cars like this hit home to most becouse it puts a black eye on the hobby. Most don't care people build cars to taste but lying about the true orgin is just wrong.

I sent the seller the picture of the four JE engines assembled on 0210.

He replied with a statement that he is dropping the price $20K, and also commented on a couple of 427 cars that the scraped the handmade block numbers off of over the years.

67 big block cars is a scary place to be these days.

The uninformed and his $$$$$$$$$$ are soon parted. Do your homework, or pay someone who really knows these cars to advise you.

The car in question is not an original motor car, it is also in my opinion not the original horsepower for the car, not even the original displacement for the car. I checked the bones of these cars not the quality of restoration or condition. It’s my opinion the seller represented them accurately at auction.
I have to tell you this was a great auction to be at because for the first time
the cars that were there were TUELY represented all the pro's and con's on a given car. I give the seller the credit for doing this AND Roy for his EXPERTISE AND HONESTY on the cars. So going in everyone knew what a given car was or was not which gave you piece of mind, unlike the majority of cars out there being misrepresented and people being ripped off.
