The 5116320 is probably the VIN Derivative of the 1965 donor car for the engine. The AP 4 5 60 is probably a 65 or a 66 and not 60. AP indicates a 4.11 posi rear end for a 327 small block car, with the rear built on April 5 of 65 or 66. You need to check these digits better and report back.

The 1966 car was built around June 1, 1966. So it's original parts will generally be in the March-April-May 1966 time period. Anything outside this range probably belongs to another car.

Appears engine and trans are from a 1965 donor car. Maybe the rear also. It is possible that it is a salvage car, so beware and ask a lot of questions. Frame, birdcage, and fiberglass condition are also very important, so have these evaluated thoroughly.

Thanks a million Larry....you are a informed& talented fellow, appreciate your time and effort. I will bird dog this one for sure. The photos of the body, finish, interior, undercarriage/frame and engine area all look very clean. Still wonder if it is worth $34k delivered!

Can't say without seeing it or a lot of pics. The price seems a bit low.

I would insist on a pic of the Trim Tag or at least all of the info that is on the tag. This will help to ensure the original body color, body build date, and other important info about the car.

There are wolves out there.
