Hey welcome to the forum! I love Mosport Green. Was almost able to get my hands on one before I found the 67 I have now. As mentioned above lots of very knowledgeable folks on this forum.

Welcome and congrats on the Mossport '66! One of my favorite colors on my favorite year...I was searching for a BB Mossport when I ran across my Trophy Blue car that I couldn't pass up! Have fun on the forum and with the car!!

'66 was a great year for colors on Corvettes. Two of the best ever (to me)... Mosport Green and Trophy Blue.

You car looks great! Very intact looking. 300 hp? Soft top only? Is your interior green or black?

Forget the clock. Hardly any of them worked after the cars were a year or two old. You can get it rebuilt, but it'll probably just stop again. I'd figure out the gas gauge first.

Congratulations on such a beautiful, clean car!

I love Mosport green and want a coupe in that color someday.

Drive it often and enjoy!

Yes, 300hp. I only have a soft top. Not sure if I have a soft top only. Researching that. Interior is green. I really like the way it looks. Gonna start on gas gauge today. Well, the clock IS right two times a day!

Nice looking car there! Our car was originally Mosport green also. Hopefully we'll get it painted soon, but in the meantime, it's red with a green interior.

Welcome to the c2 forum and mossport green club. Mine is also a soft top only car with black leather interior, and a small block 300hp w 4 spd.

The OP's car is not a soft top only car.

I see you are in Attleboro. My wife is from Norton, and we're taking the Corvette back there to visit her side of the family this summer. Maybe we'll run in to you...

Your car does have hardtop mounting holes in the top lid. Post your trim tag info If it's a St Louis body and not coded for black we can settle this.

One of your pictures showed the deck lid. I see the latches to hold the soft top down. Just behind and inboard is the hardware to bolt the hard top down. A soft top only car only has only the hardware to lock down the back of the soft top.

then you have a A. O. Smith body and they did not use ECL codes in the trim tags. so therefore your trim tag wont tell us anymore beside colors and dates. so unless you have any factory paper work there is no way to tell if your car was a original two top car or not

Thanks and I do not have factory paperwork unfortunately. I would not put a HT on it anyway as I think they are a PITA as it was with my 560SL. Took up room and you need 2 people to put it on. Thinking about it now - I never put it on. Vert it is!

I agree on all that. but I think once one they give the car a great look. but like someone told me if your going to drive with the top up or hard top on you should have bought a coupe
