Ididit steering column wiring problem
I just installed an Ididit steering column in my 62. I have the wiring package for a C1, I can make the Horn work, the emergency flashers work but I cannot figure out how to wire the directional signals.
I contacted Ididit technical support, I sent pictures, they said they did not think it was original wiring. It is original wiring according to the 62 Corvette wiring diagrams.
Has anyone on the forum installed the Ididit column and how did you wire it. Any help would certainly be appreciated.

How do you have 4 way flashers. That wasn't a option until 65 and became standard in 67. It should be very simple to match wire colors

I've got an Ididit in my 61 - but
I've also got a Classic Auto Wire harness to connect to it, but it shows the pinouts for the turn signals.
Let me know if you think they would help.

Pics from 62 corvette nut. The connectors are not the same as my midyear so I am not much help on the body side harness. Maybe they will help someone else, help him solve his problem.

Watch the horn too
I also discovered my original Steering wheel hub (all metal) has a tendency to short out on the two tabs wrapping the horn rings. Causes the horn to honk at the worst times. I just put some gasket material in between it and the hub.

I've slept a couple of times since responding...
do you have the mating pigtail, as shown in my pictures, to the connector coming out of the column? if so, the wires are color coded, and with the Ididit directions, should be a slamdunk in getting it to work correctly.

Thanks for the pictures I think they'll be a help after I determined if the turn signal switch is operating properly.
