Default Dip stick tube question (I know, really exciting)

I have a 67 327/350. While checking the oil, I pulled out my dipstick tube along with my dipstick. I pushed it back in, but it rotates, and I'm afraid it might come out while driving. Am I missing a bracket? Or will a new one fit more tightly??

They are a press fit, tapped in. Usually they are so tight you have to chill the end a little to get it started, then tap it in. I think I'd just expand the bottom a little and put it back

I had this same issue with my '62 327/300. Put the dipstick tube in the freezer, tapped it back in with a wooden block while applying a bit of Loctite blue. Been fine for over a year now. Good luck.
