My old girl turned 50 today. Celebrated by getting her out and doing a full detail and went for a nice long drive. Also picked up these wheels and tires from Craigslist and put them on. A little unusual in that they are rally wheels, which we know came out in 67, and they have goldline tires which we know are for 65 and 66. The price was right so I picked them up. I like different. Haven't had the car out much lately as I have another car project going but I've owned it for 15 years and probably will only part with it when i can't drive it anymore. Great looking car. I always liked the '67 style wheels on any year C2.

Beautiful C2 convertible! I love the color. Both wheels/tires look great but my favorite is the 5 spokes and red lines.

I'd say the style of your new after market wheels really work well on your blue C-2. Good job.

For a "period" look, he'll have to try the redlines on the Rallys. Then the gold stripes will be on the five-spokes?
