Default 65 Finnaly done! What's out there to cover the seats

After two years it's ready to drive. Installed new seat covers and I want a cloth cover to keep these white seats clean and protected. Anyone have suggestions where to go to find them? I have found plenty with the high back but none so far that look like they work for the 65.

Google "bucket seat protectors" and you will get a plethora of options. Many that are very inexpensive. Today with so many driving their sports cars to the gym for their daily workout the market is full of seat cover options. Even the off-road crowd has gotten into it with lots of cover options for their Jeeps. The only trick today is finding one that you like and that fits (fairly well) the seats in your '65.

This company makes a variety of "pet" seat covers that work just as well for "humans". They slip on and off easily and are washable. And in most cases they can be pretty inexpensive and durable.

Good luck... GUSTO

Thanks, I will take another pass at it. At first pass the backs all appeared to be too high due to the head rest which of course the '65 does not have. Appreciate all the suggestions.

I found these from Corvette America or on line... Hard to find sometimes

I just wash them when dirty.... Warm in winter, cool in summer

Had them last 5 years and 65,000 miles....a little faded.....lol

You might check Mid America Corvettes as well. They had them.

If it was me, I'd cover them with my butt. How else are you going to get the coveted patina? If you cover them with seat covers, you'll never see the color again anyway.

Gerry

ETA: That's how I'm covering my recently recovered seats. Later, when they need it, I'll recover them again. It was actually a kind of fun job.

Mossy66, I intend to do just that but I've keep white seats clean before and I don't want to put that much time into that! I'd rather be driving with that time. Too much yellow pollen here and that is a bi*** to keep out of the convertible.

Plus coffee spilling and every thing else that will happen. I take then off every so often, spill something and put them back on

Jack fit, I can't seem to locate anything like what you have. I will keep looking but that is what I was looking for and the photo will help when I speak to vendors. Thanks for posting it. If you remember exactly where you purchased your covers please hit me back.

I have seen sheep skin covers. Maybe I would use them for a long trip. But, I have to agree that what is the sense in recovering your seats if no one can see them.

Jackfit, thanks so much. I called them and they do not have them for the C2 but they still had a 68 set. I can see if they will work with a little alteration. And yes, you are spot on, top down and pollen in NC make a yellow mess, it would be a mess to keep white seats clean. These you can just launder and pop em back on. It will cover the seat and give me piece of mind so I can drive it regardless of the time of year. Obviously spring is the worst and that's when you push it to get the car out of the garage for those first drives of the year. Thanks so much again. You are a true gentleman!
