I had this a dozen years ago, bought it out of a barn and it needed the engine rebuilt and a lot of cleanup. Car was a blast- 389 Tri-Power 4-speed. Probably another one I should have kept.

Now back to our regular programming!

In the ad he said the Motor needs rebuilt but that all it needs to drive. Perfect for the survivor class. I think once you rebuild the motor it no longer qualifies for the survivor class.

The 67 was (as you could imagine) sold, pretty quickly. If I could have afforded it, I would have bought it....

I honestly did buy my 63 fuelie for 40k, I know it was a deal, I just don't get why mostly everyone on this site discredits someone when they got a car that seems to good to be true? I wasn't looking for a NM 63 fuelie, I wanted a NOM midyear that I could have fun with.... I'd sell it if something else came along....

That being said, I enjoy reading posts on this site! The knowledge you get is priceless....

It needs a new headlight motor.... maybe that's why it was so cheap?

It doesn't bother me if people don't believe it. I purchased a 62 that had been disassemble with plans to customize in the early 70s but instead sat in storage for 40 years until I came along for 6k. No one believes that either and I don't care.

I never said I didn't believe the purchase; I said I don't think that establishes a trend.
I don't know what others may have thought...

You know you can manually use the thumb wheel to put that right headlight up till you get a motor,

Just browsing a couple of cars for sale sites this morning, and ran across the ad for the "non-running '63" on Cars on line.com, and it says SOLD!
