Driving it is a rush for sure.

Thanks, now what CR, cam, intake and header size? It idles very nicely for that HP, probably very high lift, moderate duration roller cam?

Sorry everybody..........................I've been out of commission for the past few days. I turned 65 on Monday and 2 days later I tried out the Medicare thing................spent a couple days in the hospital. Hope it works. Probably won't be shifting any gears for a while. Feeling a little better now. I'll try to get back in tune soon.

Default Hey Rex

These cars are supposed to keep us young forever! Keep you young forever! Get well!

Ps my renter said a package showed up from you to me, I will run over tonight or tomorrow to see what you found and sent me! One of these days I have to start liking PMs and emails, because you said you emailed me, but I have to figure out how to get into that account, so that is probably the clue to what the package is about!

Ps it isn't my birthday and Christmas is along way away!

You are one of those guys who I hope is never slowed down by health! You truly get after things! Your a pretty dynamic guy!

Derek

The bars are to "trip up" the NCRS judges.

Nah, just kidding NCRS judges.

Thanks for that tip. I hope to get to use your advice.

I loved getting more local history! That mag case super interesting! It took me a while to get that package, because every time I turn around something happens here lately! I keep telling myself, hey Derek let's spend a Saturday and caught up on some fun stuff! Example other than some health issues, the latest was I was planning to dig out the Thumper early flares in my one garage, but had a pipe break in the other garage (pipe being way in the back, behind all of my Heavy car parts and I had to have the plumbers climb onto and over the roof of my 1965 Elco to solder in a new section! Then spent a week throwing out soaked cardboard boxes and drying out parts! Luckily none of my literature was lost!! And that was followed by hurting my artificial leg jumping and landing wrong after almost stepping on a rattlesnake while out trying to pretend that I can hike on trails!!

The Corvettes of SoCal literature that I have now, was the literature that had the Hillebrand stuff that I posted for you! At the time I posted that stuff, I didn't own it and borrowed it to copy for you those shares! Well the Owner of that literature saw the history effort I had made to give the SoCal scene some exposure, and gave me those newsletters! So I can get you copies of those entire issues!

Also I have some other cool catalogs, you name a few and I will try to get them copied (scanning- we have the biggest piece of crap machine at work and I only will use that unit if I had spend money out of my own pocket toward the work effort! I am always using my own stamps on Conpany correspondence and then I can't put book literature thru my little home unit unless I take it apart, then I never put them back together!

I have to send you my work email again (@amcapla.com) because I never open the Roadrunner one anymore!

I have a Corvette Auto Parts catalog, which had unique Corvette stuff that guys like the SoCal guys used to mod their cars! It is probably the only one still in existence!! They were the outfit with the cool drag racing altered Corvettes from Long Beach! I have most of the1960 JD Corvette catalogs also!

Thanks for the mutual sharing!!!! I still don't do good with people skills! If you lived next door, I would just make you a key to my place, so you could access my library!!!!!!!
