58 - Missing seat support assembly
Apparently I'm missing the seat support assembly. While installing my carpet I was trying to figure out where this extra hole was for because the seat tracks didn't line-up to it.
Anyone have a pair of these that can tell me what the measurements are? I hate to pay 65 dollars for some angled metal with some holes and a stud when I could easily make one myself.

While looking on the forum, I was just reading about your experience between left and right frames...which I haven't really dived into, but like you, they seem identical.
I'm looking for a little more detail, such as how long are they, width, and I see it has a lip (90-degree) bend...how far does that stick up?

I've got a lot of pictures of my '58 interior project.
You might find some of them useful.

I actually came across your post....which had a lot of pictures, but nothing could really help me. I just figure if I'm going to make one of these, might as well see if I can find someone that has this part.

Well...ended up making my own and of course powder coating them. I found this interesting...
There was no riveted nut on the bottom of the car on the passenger side outer rail. I had to weld in a bolt like the opposite side.
