Default C1 arrived today

This was delivered this morning and it appears to be as nice as described in Hemmings sale section. Looking forward to working on it.

Leif, you beat me to it. My thought was "The only work that needs is to turn the key and put it in gear!"

Looks beautiful!

I love the colors. Also, the hardtop looks great on a C1. I have one for my '61 also but don't use it much.

Hardtop only, so I will be looking for a soft top. Plan is to add AC soon and full chassis switch restomod this winter. It is not a numbers matching car, so don't feel too bad about the switch. i love old cars, but want a better driver. It does look great, paint is really good, interior clean, frame straight and rust free. I have lots of questions , so I am researching the archives. Looking forward to a new project.

Suggest dealing with Coffman for a nice convertible top frame - you can search for them on the web.

Since you have a hardtop and going to add Air Conditioning don't waste your money on a convertible top.

Good point.
What are the largest wheels and tires I can go with in this stock configuration?

Thanks.
I saw on another thread that 215-70-15s seem to be the popular radial, maybe even 225s. Seem correct for c1s?
