1963 Corvette Go Kart information?
I have a 1963 Corvette Go Kart that I know nothing about. I thought someone in here may know about them. The top just sits on the body and lifts off so it can be ridden. The Go Kart frame in bare, no engine, tires or steering wheel. Who made it? How many where made? What is it worth? Thanks.

Photos of the go kart frame and front suspension detail, along with the rear drive, will identify more about the kart manufacturer than the body photos. The body and kart were probably fabricated separately, by separate shops, and mated by an enthusiast.
The father of one of my son's friends is a fabricator for the movie studios, and they also get commissioned to do props for restaurants and trade shows. Every now and then private commission projects come in, like your go kart.
Both our sons have go karts. We were talking a few weeks back about bodies for karts, and he mentioned props are often made in 1/4 scale that could be candidates for a modified kart. We were laughing about potential C7 body Shriner style parade karts.

I will try to get some more pictures. When I bought it 10 years ago I found a few others just like it. If I Remember correctly a couple of them where for sale in the 4K range, which seemed like a lot. I just can't find anything now.

I have an unknown make repop Barry Toycraft style 63 body. You will find photos in my started threads "about exactly" one year ago.
It does not have proportions as nice as this one. It does have some more vent detail. They were convertible promo electric Karts and it's possible to read more about them from Google (not that it will help directly)
I don't know where it came from, but the fender blisters are nicely done for a Kart body.
Sorry I can't help but - WOW!
