Distributor 1111011 is a 1962 model used with 360 units. 2F12= 1962, JUNE 12. Your car was made in November 1961, so the distributor is not the original to the car. FI unit serial #2525 is the 1525th unit made as they started serial numbers at 1000. With 1989 injection cars made, my guess is this late unit and June 62 distributor go together.
Neat car, especially if i has 1968 Z-28 302 guts inspite of the 327 stamp.

plan B...
if you don't want to replace the oil filler tube (which is the cheapest route), you could get 2 driver's side LT1 valve covers and use the PCV in the passenger side like you are doing with the modified one, and use a push in breather in the driver's side hole. you do not need a driver's side and a passenger side, you need 2 drivers side.
the pictures I have attached are of the basic concept that I am presently using on my ZZ4, but the same idea is applicable to the LT1 valve covers. you don't need 2 oil filler points if you want to continue the front fill tube, just use 2 driver's side valve covers (the other side has a filler cap besides the pcv hole.
an additional benefit to the LT1 valve covers is that they have built in baffles so that oil is not easily sucked out the pcv.

the smooth shiny valve covers are ZZ4 covers, the finned one is the LT1. ZZ4 covers will not work on your heads...

Checked the passenger side, the firewall has a hole in it where the washer line run thru and i also found the metal plate and what looks like a heat shield) and washer bottle on the same side but i did find something resembling a bracket on the driver side too(4th and 5th picture).. Didnt find anything on the driver side inner fender, the air cleaner box is metal and has two hole on the fender where it mounts to. The car does have a FI emblem on the driver and passenger fender, secured with old screws(last) photo
Your original owner should add more to the story about history and if the car was a 340hp or 360hp fuel injection at birth.
