My New Ride
My 4 month search for a '67 Marina Blue convertible ended Wednesday when I found this beauty up in NorCal. I flew up Wednesday, test drove and inspected and did the deal that morning. Just waiting for the transporter to bring it down, hopefully in time for the 4th of July weekend...can't wait to do some cruisin' down the 101 with the Mrs!

Looks great. Has to be the best color combo on a Corvette ever.

Thanks all, I definitely was not going to compromise on color--for me, it had to be Marina Blue--an amazing color, looks great on the 'Vette and only available in '67. Getting the white interior was an unexpected and very pleasant bonus, as I was expecting to find either black or blue. Now, if I can just get the transporter to speed up the delivery! :-)

And what made the whole thing even better was that the seller was an awesome guy and the whole experience was completely hassle-free. We even celebrated by having a bottle of Coke from his beautifully restored late '50s Coke machine!

Beautiful '67! That is my absolute favorite '67 color combination. Good luck and enjoy the ride!

Nice ride. Congratulation to yourself will be justified easch time you take it for a drive. Like any mechanical device, it needs to be operated frequently. I have a '67 born Oct 23, 1966. What is your car's B-date? Dennis

Beautiful 67, and welcome to our addiction. There are a couple of mid-year enthusiasts there in No. San Diego area you should make friends with if not already. PM or email for info. Enjoy your new toy.

I definitely intend to drive it, and drive it often. You are absolutely right, Dennis, these beauties are much happier running than sitting. My born-on date was July 7, 1967, making this one of the last 500 '67s built.
