Default On a 63 SWC with the glass roll down how much is sticking up

I installed some window bumpers and now when the glass is rolled down all the way, the glass sticks up above the door about 1/2". Is this correct. Without the bumper the glass goes down past the top of door window opening.

Looks like approx. 1/2 3/4 below stainless door trim.

Of course the window shouldn't stick up....do those stops even go on a coupe ? What do they look like ?

The vendor catalogs show a rubber bumper used on late 63's. Not sure if that is for coupes or open cars. I would also like to know if the coupe is suppose to have a bumper for the glass. Makes sense that some sort of stop would be required. Anyone know for sure and what it looks like.

Sounds like the bumper you installed is to tall the original bumper is about a 1/4" tall.

On the end of the rear channel there is a 1/8" hole that the piece in the picture was press on. If you look at the picture you will see that it is broken on the end. Does anybody sell this part. I have an early car so not sure if it was changed later on. I need two. The AIM does not show this part. It only shows the open car stop.

Would it be possible to get some wildwood contact cement and really attach the old rubber bumpers to the vertical channel. My guess is that along with the new style rubber bumpers the part number on the channel changed also to reflect any attachment differences

I just looked at my windows on my 63 SWC and the glass is even with the door opening (surprisingly)
