Default Changing the 63 clock plastic face?

Hi, I want to change the plastic clock face and re paint the bezels (frost)

How do you take it apart?

You should consider some polish for that clock face if its lightly scratched and avoid taking that rare, one-year-only clock apart. Rebuilt 63 clocks are in the $650-$800 range in the US if that tells you anything. You can tape off the clock lens and chrome edge trim and then repaint the frosted part. All without disassembling anything...

Never messed with mine...so can't say. For some reason I thought it was plastic...
So, are they glass ?

C2's I have personal knowledge of were glass and very breakable.

My cluster and clock all had plastic lenses. Polished the light scratches
out with toothpaste. I think in 64 they went to glass.
