1964 C2 Coming Tomorrow, Want Wheel Suggestion/Pics Please
Well I bounced around between a C1 & a C2 for quite a few months now, Tomorrow I will pick up my 64 C2 - Currently Black/Black with Numbers Matching L76 327-365HP
I thought getting the C1 would be cool because then I could have an "Odd Collection" C1, C3, C5, C7
Some Pics Below
I want to Change the Wheels / Rims to something all Chrome or Black & Chrome as I may Eventually want to Paint it down the Road to Black with a Silver Stripe on a Stinger Hood & do the 2 Tone Black/Silver Interior (Silver Door Panels & Seats, If anybody has a Pic of that too would be greatly appreciated)
Oh, and thanks in advance

Previous Owner had it Frame on Restored. Everything looked good, I guess it was an older couple selling off their Car Collection. Can use a bit of light Cleanup on the underside, but I was pretty happy when I saw it in Person, the Clock Worked, the AM/FM Original Slide Bar Radio Worked, the only thing that needed work is the Passenger side Headlight is not coming all the way up. But as an owner of a 68 I am used to having to Fix somethings from time to time on these old girls.

C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified 2020
Good looking '64. Consider period correct wheels. They will compliment the design of the car. Dennis

Great addition to your stable. I have a 66 black coupe with a stinger hood painted with a silver stripe. I painted it that way to match the silver stripe on my 70 SS black Chevelle. I will try to post a picture. Good luck with the 64. Jerry

Nice car! My vote is no on blue stripes, stinger hoods, and two tone blue and black interior. A solid black car makes a statement no other color combo does....very pure and strong, and no embellishments needed. For the wheels, 15" Ameircan Racing Torque Thrusts, or Cragar SS. A black wheel would look too modern, IMO, and personally I don't care for the look.

if you like the black chrome thing which is I think is a compliment on a black car, try coys wheels. they won't break the bank. I have owned sets on several street rods aka resto mods. all were top quality and service for precise fittments was exceptional. on the traditional route, American torque thrusts with gray centers or American salt flats are hard to beat. you didn't say but I assume you are using a 14 or 15 inch wheel. if you are going bigger then the game changes.

IMO these would be really nice wheels on your car. Nice period look and not as common as torq-thrusts or salt flats (which also look very nice). I was considering them for my silver '66 but they're only available in 15". I talked to the people that make them; about $400 each. Search for
realrodderswheels. Below are pictures from our forum--old wheel on the left is an original and the replica on the right. Good luck making a decision! Fun choices.

My vote is for the Knock off look, but I would be the bolt on versions just for ease of use and piece of mind.

I like the Rally Wheels on my 68. Gives it that Original Look.
But I've been leaning towards something like this pic:
Wonder what Black Rims with Silver or Chrome Highlights would look like???
Any Suggestions on Size? Can I go up to 17???
This Pic supposedly had American Racing wheels w/ 225/50 ZR 17
