Carb Float Housing Problem
Just wondering if anybody has had the same problem as myself and what was the solution.
I do not have the original carb on my 66 327/300 but have a List No 3837 which is almost identical to the original but has non adjustable floats. The floats are held in position by a pin which goes into a blind hole in the side of the housing and seems originally to be an interference fit. This pin on the primary housing has come out twice in 2 years causing flooding of the carb. I need to fix the pin back in the housing so it does not come out again. Any suggestions to the best way to do this.
Thanks Phil
