Most Desirable Color for a Midyear?
We all know about Resale Red, but personally I don't care for most of the resprayed examples I see of Riverside Red. Very few actually capture the richness of the original shade. Same goes for many of the red interiors seen in lots of midyears out there. If the colors are correct it is a gorgeous combo - Frankie's car for example - but if they're not right it just looks cheesy to me.
I'm partial to some of the more unusual combos available from 64-66, such as Daytona blue with Silver/Blue interior, Tuxedo black with White/Blue interior, or Silver Pearl with Bright Blue interior. I also think Ermine white with Red interior is classic. Milano Maroon done right looks great with almost any interior.
What are some of your most/least favorite combos? Opinions please!

Well - thanks for the compliment...
I'll always have a warm spot for silver cars with red interiors...not something I can explain...they just 'call' to me...

Love the Daytona Blue with white interior and also the Milano Maroon with black interior. Was pleasantly surprised the black leather does not hold the heat the way vinyl does.
Red on red is not a favorite of mine, but I own a car that is red on red.

Nice to know - a car I'm thinking of buying is MM with black leather. IMO a very rich looking combo.

I have fresh paint on the 65 with my favorite color combo. Daytona Blue with red interior. Yeah it's not correct for my car and not even available for 65 but I like it.

Red and saddle would be classic. I'm over black interiors, just a personal preference.

Absolutely,
Glen Green with light saddle tan.
or,
White with Dark Blue.
No question.
oh yeah,
we have been down this road a few times before.
Always makes for some interesting interchange.

Safety Car
Benton I just found a 64 Daytona Blue with Silver / Dark Blue interior just like your car in an original fuel injected coupe here locally just a few miles from me. Funny it has been in the area for years but almost no one knew about it. It has not been on the road since the 80's but it would not take much to get it back on the road. It is being sold here locally so it will not be for sale here on this forum. I just wanted to mention it because the color matches your color combination. The paint and interior are still original.

Glen Green
Milano Maroon with black interior is the richest looking hands down. Does anyone out there have an original 65 that is GLEN GREEN with black interior. Never hear ANYONE menchion that great looking combo.

Trophy Blue with Dark Blue interior I like it since I have one, but also bought it because I liked it I favor the odd combos or one year only colors mostly! I do love the Daytona Blue with Red interior for sure too!
