Default ISO my father's 65 Stingray

I just joined this forum because I am trying to locate my father's 67 Stingray. I actually do a search and found that it is located in Arizone but I don't know who and where. Am I allowed to post the vin on this forum to see if the owner is a member here?

Sure you can. How did you find it in AZ?

I purchased a report via instaVIN and it says the last title report was in Arizona in 2013.

The vin number is 194675S102891. If anyone can help let me know.

Ryan- try writing to the corvette clubs you can google in AZ. Including but not limited to the NCRS. Include as much of a description of the car as it was when it was sold.

The more emails the better. Maybe offer a few $100 as a finders fee. I'd say chances are 30% that the car is known by a club member somewhere.

Ryan - Post up that information here too such as Coupe/Roadster, colors inside and out, wheels, etc. How long ago did your father own it?

Based on the VIN# provided, this car is a 1965 convertible.

Ryan:

I would do two things if you want to find the current owner:

1. Contact the NCRS Arizona Chapter Representative and have him check their database for the VIN and also put an ad in their local NCRS chapter newsletter. His name is Garry Eastwood, and his contact info is 480-474-4959 and www.arizonancrs.com

2. Contact Bill Gould of Auto Ancestry and have him search for the car. Bill is a good guy and has located MANY Corvettes for folks. This one should be easy for him if car was registered within the past few years. There will be a cost, but it should not be much. PM me or Google the name for contact information.

The NCRS National organization also has a website with a section for locating missing car and parts, etc. You might be able to post there, or let me or another NCRS Member know and we can post for you. Are you trying to find the car to buy back or to provide an owner history and original paperwork??

Larry
