Default Feels incredible to have the 64 on the road

Well it only took 6 years!
What a blast to drive.
The feeling you get with all the admiration and praise from family, friends, and strangers is priceless.

4 RI shows and five awards:

Cowboy Cruisers - W Greenwich - Cub Choice
Cowboy Cruisers - Greenville - Peoples Choice 2nd
Scituate K of C - 53-67 Corvette - Peoples Choice 2nd (1st was a 63/65/66 frankenvette in fair to good condition; had a lot of friends/aquaintances- no biggy
Midnight Motors/Hasbro Children's Hospital - Best of 60's and .....BEST of SHOW... Sweeeeet!

Just the conversations with people in the hobby that know and appreciate these old cars is really enjoyable.

I can relate to your interaction with people. Congratulations on a job well done! Colors and stripe make it along with the red lines...sweet! Dennis

Way to go! I am almost 3 years into my 64 frame off and just now able to hit the road with a lot of parts remaining to be installed. I hope it looks half as good as yours!

Good on ya, mate - a beautiful car. I know what you mean about driving it, too . . . when I'm out & about in the '62, the waves, looks and smiles go on forever. Then you hit a nice open stretch of back road, and let her wind out a bit. Life is good indeed. Enjoy.

I'm not big on all the time involved, but I figure now is the time before all the miles start to show on the car. It's been a hot muggy summer and I have a hard time hanging out that long waiting. It's been great though to talk to all the different types of people and their ideas and views.
Thanks
