Default April 1963 Chevy Ad

Cleaning out some really old college papers. Ad appeared in the Carnegie Tartan. (Pittsburgh). Guess Chevy thought it would make a nice graduation present suggestion.

Nice.
I'll take the split window or the 425hp Impala SS for my graduation present...

From that high angle, the Corvair convertible looked to me like it had a '64 1/2 Mustang front end at first glance.

The original ad is probably an artist's work rather than a photo. Hey, maybe Ford copied the '63 Corvair front end...

I didn't recall the Chevy II Nova SS with the "400" designation. What did the "400" stand for? 1963 was a banner year for GM all around. The styling studio really got it "right" on a lot of different models across the GM brands.
